UPA Recording Partnership Agreement
The Ultimate Players Association ("UPA") appreciates the contributions and commitment of individuals seeking to share photographs, video and audio recordings of Events hosted by the UPA. The UPA Recording Partnership Agreement sets for the terms and conditions for recording and distribution of recordings of UPA Events.

Anyone wishing to record UPA Events for Commercial Purposes (as defined in the agreement) is required to sign the agreement. Anyone wishing to record for strictly personal use may also be required to review and sign the agreement to ensure that the permitted uses are understood. The agreement is intended to protect the UPA's rights as an event organizer as well as to encourage and allow recording of UPA Events for both personal and commercial purposes beneficial to the sport and its participants.

NOTE: If you have already completed a 2009 Recording Partnership Agreement, it is not necessary to complete a new one for this event. However, we do ask that you contact us so that we can prepare a credential for your use during the event. Please email Chuck Menke, UPA Managing Director - Business Development and Communications for more information. chuck<at>hq<dot>upa<dot>org

Photography Hints
What the UPA is looking for in images:

Have a Disc
Include a disc in all of your shots; otherwise it just looks like people running around in a field

Mix It Up
The UPA is committed to providing equal coverage of all divisions at our events and will choose an equal number of images from each division.
We also look for a wide range of team images at our events.

Resolution
Ultimate News is printed at 300dpi and cannot accept photos shot at a lower resolution.

What’s the Story?
The UPA uses images to accompany articles on the tournaments and therefore will look for pictures that help tell the story.
If there is a big game or upset, odds are that it will be mentioned in the article and an image from that particular game would be desired. Try to follow the action.

More Information
With today’s technology, including voice recording on many high-end cameras, it gets easier and easier for photographers to label their images.
Round and teams are much appreciated. Player names included would be fabulous!
Please include as much information with your shots as possible.

Ask Us!
If you have any questions or concerns about what images to take or how to take them,
feel free to contact a UPA representative at the fields or call 303-447-3472
